We determined a need to offer retained services since so many of the CEOs and presidents we spoke to have been taken advantage of by so-called “retained firms.” Numerous senior executives told us horror stories of paying up-front money and not receiving candidates. One of these executives paid 50% of the total $100,000 fee and never hired a candidate-imagine the embarrassment he experienced explaining this to his board.
You can’t lose money with our retainer. We offer a performance-based retainer—only pay a small portion of the fee after Connexis delivers at least two viable candidates.
For the last 21 years, we have helped senior executives that lead diagnostics and life science companies hire top-tier talent. Since we recently started offering retained searches, we don’t have a long list of recent placements. Still, we have existing relationships with the senior-level executives you want to hire.
We assign retained searches to one of our VP Level Recruiters. Most “retained firms” use a senior-level recruiter to secure the search assignment and pass the recruiting to a junior recruiter.
